Blood Theater. Color, 1984 Rifftrax. I’m about 10mins in. I’m getting a real crying game vibe from one “lady”. I think movie starts with a flashback to a murder and fire in a theater. This movie seems bad on purpose. I guess this crappy movie theater chain just bought the theater where everybody died in a fire. Except there’s literally no fire damage whatsoever. I used to work for an AMC theater, and we didn't have a locker room. Not sure I’ll make it all the way through this. Making fun of a purposely bad movie.... it isn’t impossible, but it’s not ideal. The movie is legitimately incompetent and the acting is bad, but it’s not like Ed Wood or Bert I Gordon or Francis Coleman. There’s nothing earnest about this. It’s crap made by people who knew they were making crap, being made fun of by people who don’t seem to be in on the joke. A self aware movie being made fun of by people not self aware enough to get it. I guess I watched about half. Bottom tier. For me personally, there's no point ever in this kind of release. Sorry so harsh, but I have to hate SOME of these. Third Tier (lowest tier)
