Oblivion 1994 Rifftrax color. Sci-fi western with Julie Newmar and Sulu. I’m 48mins in and I kinda like it. Movie is dumb but not really in a bad way. It’s like it knows it’s just silly nonsense but also wants to have fun. Sometimes too much self awareness in a bad movie makes riffing impossible. But this seems like the right mix so far. A little slow to get going. There’s some weird creature stuff in this movie too. Giant scorpion and a killer frog. Goofy. There’s a hot girl with a whip and Bettie Page hair. She needs a LOT more screen time. I don’t know what the hell George Takei is doing in this. His “acting” is insane. The movie is a bit insane but everyone else is playing it mostly straight. Takei is just playing straight up crazy. He’s the town doctor too. He makes several Star Trek references. This is a pretty funny one. Maybe top tier
