Night of the Blood Beast MST701 Black n white 50s monster movie. Fun one! NASA family owned and operated. Aliens using astronauts body as a host. I always forget the plot of this one. But it’s a funny one, maybe even classic. It’s not quite as much fun as the very best ones, but still excellent. The premise of the guy being basically pregnant with alien blood beasts is funny by itself. Blood beast eventually talks like Bogart. What a ridiculous movie! Really no reason this was called night of the blood beast. No night, the alien creature didn’t drink blood or anything. This movie is a good time in general. The short, once upon a honeymoon is also top notch. I don’t always mention the short, and I even sometimes skip over the short, but this one is in full color and is a musical. I guess it might be trying to sell....new furniture? Kitchen appliances? No idea. This is top tier and one of Mike's best.
Lots of crossover between this one an "Attack of The Giant Leaches"; I've only just discovered that John Cocoran and Cal Moulton were the same actor.
ReplyDeleteDespite season 4 being my fav season, I think I got tired of Killer Shrews and Giant Leaches. I have not revisited those 2 episodes in years. That Cocoran/Moulton thing sounds like a Merit Stone situation :-)
