MST1107. This is one that actually seems like a pretty good movie, at least at first. Riffing is funny from the start. Doug McClure is in this and this movie and him are mentioned during the riffing of Lost Continent from Season 2. Starts as a war movie, kinda; an enemy sub sinks a ship full of people wearing thick white turtlenecks. So German submarine sinks US or British ship. McClure and some others (including a woman who isn't wearing a white turtleneck yet) survive in lifeboat. Sub surfaces, McClure and crew take over and hijack sub. Germans are also all in thick white turtlenecks. Now onboard the sub, the woman puts on a thick white turtleneck. Then the Germans sabotage the compass to go south for 6 days. On the sixth day of the sun rising in the south, McClure suspects something might be wrong. But then Germans get control again. The blonde girl is very pretty. Without any explanation at all, after Germans clearly retook sub and said McClure would be shot, suddenly McClure is in charge again. Maybe there had to be an edit for time or something. But everyone is kinda sorta working together since the sub is lost now, in the iceberg infested waters of South America. Most of this season is really excellent. So much better than season 12. This movie also looks very good. Fun episode, great picture and decent-ish dinosaurs. Everyone except McClure and hot blonde die. Even the dinosaurs. Top tier—-fun pretty much all the way through.
