 The Visitor (1979 color Rifftrax) 4-21-21 watch date (an ep of hdtgm comes out tomorrow on same movie). 

John Houston is in this. And Glen Ford... and Shelly Winters. Wow. Starts with desert and special effects, guy in dark robes comes out of the sun and sees John Houston in the desert in Obi-one robes. Desert becomes a blizzard snow globe and black robed guy becomes a little girl. Cut to Jesus with bleach blonde hair and very blue eyes. I’m 4mins in. BeachJesus is talking to a bunch of little bald kids all in white turtlenecks and yellowish gold robes. Jesus too. I already don’t know what is going on. Ok, there’s a creepy kid, it’s an Omen kinda exorcist kinda deal. Btw—great picture on this movie. It started with fx and some washed out stuff but 17mins in, it looks HD and widescreen. If I keep commenting I’ll be here all night. Diving in. Be back in an hour & 8. Ok, but the little girl got a gun in a present and accidentally shot a pretty lady. And Glen Ford has shown up. He’s a detective cop. Shelly Winters has also shown up dressed as Mary Poppins. This would have been the same year Winters played Gladys Presley, Elvis' mom, in a TV Movie with Kurt Russell as Elvis. There’s some weird bad birds in this movie. There’s a cursed toy bird. Lol. Birds have killed Glen Ford at 36mins in. Toy bird kept freaking him out while he was driving, then real bird flew right in through the window and caused Glen Ford to forget what brakes are. Ice skating rink! John Houston has his own theme music, and it never feels appropriate. It’s a full on Birdemic now. And it’s over. This is one where the movie is so damned batshit wtf you have to recommend it. But it isn’t top tier. It’s good, fun, a wtf fest. Maybe lower half of the Top Tier.
