Human Duplicators. MST420 Color, 1960s.
Almost all of MST3K Season 4 is brilliant. Fun, breezy episode. Dumb movie about androids made of ceramics stuffed with Mardi Gras beads and bic pens. They shatter super easily. Some really funny bits in this. The movie itself is another of my ideal mst. Movie is ridiculous and funny on its own. It starts like it’ll be a spaceship alien movie, but then it gets Frankensteinesque. But it’s just kinda a drama about an investigative journalist. Hey, a Jordanaires riff! A Prince Computer Blue reference! This is top of their game, though not the very very best. Still top tier.
Rewatch—- starts with a Christmas ornament in space. The interior is a game show set with Jaws from 007 movies inside. Blind girl in this one. So Jaws is sent to earth to help the other aliens take over or something. He goes to a scientist’s house and meets his hot blind daughter. He wants to help scientist create androids. So then they can make duplicates of people to steal stuff. I guess. Hugh Beaumont is FBI guy I think. Jaws is named Konos. Bob Newhart Show riff with Howard Borden impression! This is a great one. I think they’re making an Asian girl android. They really do seem stuffed full of beads and pens. Mike Nelson pops up in host segment as Hugh Beaumont. That Asian girl just had one scene and no lines... This is still Top Tier.
