Mitchell

Mitchell (1975 color MST512). Looks like a TV movie, but almost everything from the mid 70s looks like a TV movie. This is Joel’s last episode. Plot so far: guy who looks like Johnny Mathis breaks into rich guys house. Rich guy kills him, but plants a gun on him. Mitchell, a slovenly cop detective played by Joe Don Baker (my least fav Bond villain in one of my fav Bond movies)  investigates. It leads to some whole hierarchy of criminals and drug deals. Linda Evans is in this, and inexplicably has sex with Mitchell. It's all quite unpleasant. John Saxon has been gone for a while. He's just gone. Okay, these guys: Mestretta and Gillano--it’s all about those guys. They're the big crime guys. OK, that is over. Mitchell kills most everyone. When I write very little it is usually because the movie is so funny I don;t wanna look away or pause it. That is the case with this one. It’s a classic top tier episode.
